1997- 2005 – Owned and operated Wreckless Abandon Studios, an award-winning stop-frame and digital animation studio located near Hartford, Connecticut.


Executive Vice President & Creative Director, Wreckless Abandon Studios. 

Responsible for creative direction of the studio for nine years, producing commercials, animated series, and shorts, culminating in directing a team of 60+ artists and production staff in the creation of a stop motion preschool series for Mattel/Fisher-Price. 


Entertainment Credits:   

Fisher-Price “Little People” Series- Responsible for overall creative look (and feel) of “Little People” series, includingfloor direction, supervision of preproduction, art direction, story development, storyboards and animatics, reporting directly to Mattel Entertainment.  Oversaw all aspects of post-production including compositing and editing. Pioneered/developed ground-breaking systems for digital still camera acquisition and post-production compositing of lip-synched mouths on stop motion puppets.

1990-1996:  Owned and operated Atlantic Media Services, Providing animated graphics, shooting and editing services for clients, including CNN Political and Science Bureaus, along with documentary and commercial production services, CGI, clay and stop motion  animated elements for broadcast spots.


Additional Skills:


During my tenure at Wreckless Abandon Studios, in addition to training and directing stop motion animators, I also garnered expertise in a variety of related skills including:  Writing, Creative, Editing, Lighting, Camera Operation, Digital Acquisition, Digital Compositing and Large Format Photography.
